... and this bag was just - dancing - with me ...

A unique paper punch-work piece by Martin. Created from heavy-weight French hand-made paper, the artwork is intended to remain unframed and simply suspended as a pure white sheet. When placed in front of an opaque surface, the perforations reveal the shadowed colour of the wall behind, but ideally it should be spotlit or hung with a sunlit window behind (as shown) to bring the design to life and create a secondary, projected pattern upon the floor.

The piece is inspired by a transcendent scene from the feature film ‘American Beauty’, written by Alan Ball.

102 x 84 cm (unframed)
